Transforming a Tired Retail outlet into a Modern Office and Design Space
Warren Thorpe and the Total Fitouts Wide Bay recently completed their own commercial design and fit out project. Their aim – to transform a tired retail space, located in the heart of Hervey Bay, into a modern, clean, and stylish office space. The project was undertaken with their in-house designers, and the end result is a space that is both functional and visually stunning.
The team worked closely together to create a space that had great street appeal, attracting passing trade and building brand awareness with locals. Bespoke signage, including a large LED light brandmarks and branded window decals, was installed to enhance the company’s visibility. The team also added an oversized mural of the iconic Hervey Bay pier to the wall of the boardroom to connect the office space to the local area.
The open plan office fit out features multiple workspaces, a dark feature wall, and durable dark grey carpet squares. The boardroom is a beautiful space that features handcrafted bespoke wooden feature screens and a mural that adds to the local feel of the office space. The design space was created to showcase designs to clients, with feature pendant lights, modern work pods, and ample storage for office supplies.
