Oakberry Acai Coolum, located on the Sunshine Coast Queensland, was brought to life by the Total Fitouts Sunshine Coast North team. The owners contacted the commercial shop fitting / project management team to help them bring to life their Australian flagship commercial hospitality fitout.
Owners of the local branch of the global franchise business, tasked the team with transforming a Dominoes Pizza store, located on a popular main road, into a modern, beachy, industrial hospitality fitout. The scope included feature stone pieces and a handcrafted iconic timber batten counter, which was to be replicated across the country.
The shopfit experts said; “We was tasked with creating an inviting, young, eye-popping fitout. The floor was one of the key design features that really worked in the high-traffic space. The existing floor was in a really poor state, so we poured an apoxy topping which replicated a beach style meets ‘weathered’ industrial concrete effect flooring. The grounded finish was continued up one of the walls which looks really cool. The fitout had to be on brand with bespoke carpentry and signage and the whole project was brought together with a tropical, giant wall art mural.”
The talented shopfitting team built a vibey, bright yet practical space, where clients can enjoy their tasty ‘clean’ bowls. Custom hardwood joinery, lighting, neon signage and a neutral colour palette, with bright splashes of colour and wooden accents, were key design requirements.

The team built on-trend floating wooden shelving to showcase merchandise, a custom-built counter with batten wooden panelling, led lighting, and a classic stone bench top.
