Parramatta Design Office

Total Fitouts Parramatta recently completed a commercial office fitout for their own design office studio. Located on Grose Street in Parramatta, this office serves as the workspace for Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta. Led by Peter and the Total Fitouts Parramatta team, the project aimed to transform an empty commercial tenancy into a modern and on-brand space that reflects the company’s identity while prioritising functionality and showcasing the team’s personality.

The scope of the project included designing and constructing various areas within the office, including a reception area, an inviting waiting area, multiple office spaces and meeting rooms, amenities, and a small kitchenette. The design concept revolved around incorporating the Total Fitouts branding, featuring a navy colour scheme with pops of orange while maintaining a minimal and modern aesthetic that aligns with the brand. The in-house design team at Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta took charge of designing the space, leveraging their expertise to create a cohesive and visually appealing environment.

In the reception and waiting area of the Total Fitouts Parramatta commercial office fitout, the focus was on creating a welcoming and comfortable space for visitors and clients. The design aimed to leave a positive first impression and reflect the company’s branding. To achieve this, commercial-grade loose furniture was carefully selected and installed. A lounge area was created, featuring high-quality seating that exudes both style and comfort. The lounge serves as a cozy and inviting space where guests can relax and wait comfortably.

In addition to the lounge, a front display was strategically placed to showcase the Total Fitouts brand and its portfolio. This display serves as a visual representation of the company’s expertise and capabilities, leaving a lasting impression on clients. To enhance the aesthetic appeal, white painted brickwork was incorporated into the design. 

The office spaces and meeting rooms within the Total Fitouts Parramatta commercial office fitout were designed with a focus on functionality, aesthetics, and creating a productive work environment. To achieve a cohesive and visually appealing look, timber VJ panelling was utilised across the offices and meeting rooms. This choice not only adds warmth and texture to the spaces but also creates a sense of continuity throughout the office. The combination of white walls with pops of vibrant orange through the office chairs adds a dynamic and energetic touch to the overall design.

A fresh coat of cool grey paint was applied as the backdrop, providing a neutral and versatile canvas that allows other design elements to stand out. To add depth and visual interest, custom timber cladding, concrete textured paint, and arched felt panels were incorporated into the design. The linear timber cladding extending onto the ceilings creates a cohesive look, tying the design elements together and giving the rooms a polished and professional appearance.

To enhance sound management and create a more acoustically pleasant environment, acoustic panels were integrated into two of the offices. These panels help minimise noise distractions and promote a quiet and conducive atmosphere for focused work and productive meetings. In select office spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows were utilised to maximise natural light and contribute to a sense of openness and modernity. 

The Total Fitouts Parramatta commercial office fitout includes amenities and a small kitchenette that were designed with functionality and a timeless aesthetic in mind. In terms of fixtures and finishes, a deliberate choice was made to opt for simple, timeless, and neutral options allowing them to seamlessly blend with various design styles and colour palettes. Throughout the commercial office fitout, plants and small orange and navy accents are strategically placed to elevate the space and create visual interest.

The commercial office fitout reflects Total Fitouts Parramatta’s commitment to delivering a high-quality office that aligns with their brand identity. The attention to detail and utilisation of the company’s branding elements contribute to a cohesive and visually appealing workspace. The project was successfully completed within the established timeline, showcasing Total Fitouts Parramatta’s dedication to efficient project management and superior craftsmanship.
