Shopfitting an empty shopping centre tenancy into functional, welcoming commercial office workspace.

Al Bitic and the Total Fitouts Sutherland Shire team recently completed a commercial office fitout for At Work Bonnyrigg. Located within a shopping centre in Bonnyrigg Plaza, At Work Bonnyrigg is one of Total Fitout’s large corporate clients. The project involved transforming a blank vacant commercial shell into a functional and practical office workspace. The office design and fitout was done in-house by Total Fitouts’ designers, adhering to At Work corporate brand guidelines such as a green colour palette. The size of the tenancy space was 100m2.

The front section of the office fitout underwent a significant redesign to enhance its street appeal and create a captivating entrance for visitors. This involved the installation of an on-brand lightbox sign that immediately catches the eye and invites people inside. Additionally, the large front door, surrounded by glass, adds to the overall aesthetic while encouraging foot traffic.

Led by Al and his skilled team of carpenters, the office fitout perfectly reflected the branding of At Work Bonnyrigg. The layout was meticulously planned to optimise functionality and efficiency, resulting in a workspace that met the specific needs of the company. The project was successfully completed in a remarkably short time frame of just seven days.

Several special features were incorporated into the office fit out design to elevate its visual appeal and functionality. Floors were laid with commercial vinyl planks, adding a touch of elegance and durability and bespoke glazing elements were integrated, providing both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Moreover, the installation of necessary technology for office networks and computer systems ensured a seamless and productive work environment.

Behind the scenes, simple yet essential amenities were thoughtfully installed to guarantee a comfortable office workspace for employees. At the front of the office fit out, a dedicated boardroom equipped with video conferencing AV was created to facilitate seamless meetings and collaborations. White separators were strategically placed between office spaces, serving a dual purpose as partitions and storage units.

To enhance the overall atmosphere, and incorporate the company’s branding, feature walls in the meeting rooms were installed to showcase the vibrant corporate colours associated with the At Work brand. Additionally, the office fit out team selected lush greenery and foliage throughout the workplace to add a connection with nature and infuse oxygen. The selected colour palette infused a natural tone, and a sense of vibrancy to the workspace.
